What is a vocational license?

If you want to work as a school bus attendant or a taxi driver, you must have a vocational license. There are different licensing requirements for different professions. It’s easy to apply and obtain a vocational license in Singapore.

All documents must be in order for the application to be processed in 15 working days. Vehicles classified as C, D, or C1 or D1 subcategories can be driven with a vocational license.

In order to obtain a Group 2 license, drivers must pass an additional theory test that is specific to their vehicle type.

  • As soon as you pass the test, you will be issued a Temporary Vocational Licence (TVL).

Validity of vocational license?
