GST Voucher – Medisave for Singaporeans above 65yrs
The GST Voucher – Medisave, will be credited to their CPF Medisave Account and can be used to pay their own or immediate family members’ hospitalisation expenses incurred in any of the participating medical institutions under the Medisave Scheme. Medisave savings can also be used to pay for day surgeries and approved outpatient treatments listed here.
Eligibility to get GST Voucher – Medisave in Singapore
- You must be a Singapore citizen, residing in Singapore
- You must be aged 65 and above in 2018
- The Annual Value of your home (as indicated on your NRIC) as at 31 December 2017 must not exceed $21,000
- You must not own more than one property.
How to Sign Up for GSTV Medisave in Singapore?
If you are eligible and have not signed up, you may Sign Up from 1 July 2018. The deadline to sign up for the 2018 GST Voucher is 31 December 2018.
When do I Receive GSTV Medisave?
Payment date – From 4 August 2018:
10 working days for crediting to your CPF Medisave account
As a top-up to your CPF Medisave Account, the GST Voucher – Medisave will form part of your CPF monies and will be subjected to CPF withdrawal rules.
