Renowned football teams like Liverpool FC, Leicester City FC, FC Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, and AS Roma will participate in the festival, which is put on by TEG Sport. This exciting event will take place at the Singapore Sports Hub’s National Stadium.

Football fans can anticipate a fantastic slate of games, beginning on July 26 with the Tiger Cup opener between Tottenham Hotspur FC and AS Roma.

Two games involving Liverpool FC, the reigning champions, will take place at the National Stadium. On July 30, they will take on Leicester City FC in their first defense of the Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy. Following their previous trip to Singapore in 2017, Liverpool FC will compete for the Singapore Trophy against Bundesliga leaders FC Bayern Munich on August 2. Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool FC, and FC Bayern Munich will also hold open training sessions, giving supporters a rare chance to see their preferred clubs in action.

Fans may immerse themselves in a week-long Fan Interactive Festival Village, which includes interesting activities and a variety of food and beverage options, in addition to the exciting matches. On training and game days, as well as on August 1, the day before the championship game between FC Bayern Munich and Liverpool FC, the village will be accessible to the general public.

The Singapore Festival of Football Driven by CDG Zig is the nation’s first sizable football event since 2019 with many games involving European clubs. The festival, which is sponsored by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), confirms Singapore’s status as a top regional host city. The National Stadium will combine components from renowned stadiums like Germany’s Allianz Arena and England’s Anfield to create an exhilarating atmosphere for spectators to enjoy international football matches.

According to Keith Tan, Chief Executive Officer of STB, “We are excited to build on the success of last year’s match to offer a star-studded week of football that will attract fervent fans from around the region.” We anticipate that the Singapore Festival of Football Driven by CDG Zig will be a significant highlight of our exciting calendar of events this year.
